From talking with students about other application processes I know that you have a few key questions. Hopefully, I answer the big ones here.
Selection Timeline
Applications for the spring 2019 cohort will be open from Tuesday, January 29, 2019 through Friday, March 1, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. Applicants will be notified of their application status via email on March 6, 2019. Our first meeting will be Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 5:30 p.m.
Selection Process
The Dean’s Leadership Program applicants will submit a digital application by the deadline. From there I will read every single application to determine who the cohort will be. I will let you know that while the final selection will be mine to make I will look to Dean of Students Office staff for insights and thoughts.
Number Selected
Trust me – I would love for everyone to be involved in the program, but in order to accomplish my goal of creating a small community, we will limit the Dean’s Leadership Program to 25-30 students.
