Welcome to the Institute of Hispanic-Latino Culture

About Us

Bienvenidos! The Institute of Hispanic-Latino Cultures, "La Casita", the first of its kind in the south eastern United States, was established in 1994 and has since provided a "home away from home" for students. La Casita serves to enhance and enrich the general understanding of and participation in the diversity of Hispanic/Latino cultures. We strive to be a source where people of similar cultures, values, customs and language can unite to share ideas and events with the community. La Casita serves as a central station for over 40 Hispanic/Latino student organizations. We proudly invite students, faculty, staff, and community to learn more about the rich heritage of the Hispanic/Latino community.
