Welcome to Asian Pacific American Affairs
Asian Pacific American Affairs (APA Affairs) provides support, assists in the personal development, and advocates for the needs of Asian Pacific American (APA) students while promoting awareness of APA issues throughout the UF community.
Our mission is to:
- Provide appropriate resources to APA students
- Assist APA students with their personal and academic development
- Raise campus awareness of APA issues, histories, and cultures
- Promote the participation of APA students in leadership roles on campus committees and campus governance
- Provide advisement and support to the Asian American Student Union and their sub-organizations, the South Asian American Student Alliance, and other APA student organizations
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative assessments on the needs of APA students and the campus climate as it relates to APA students
- Maintain a resource library of APA cultural and educational resources
