It is easy and rewarding to become involved in the Center for Leadership & Service! We offer students many leadership and service opportunities and the following are some steps you can take depending on your interests.
CLS Programs & Projects
The CLS offers a plethora of programs and projects for students to experience leadership and service opportunities. Our Programs consist of leadership and service student-run organizations. Our Projects consist of committees of students working on events, some focusing on one single event and other focusing on a month-long series of events. Volunteering
Volunteering through CLS
Volunteering through CLS is fun and easy. Just look through the different Programs & Projects
available to all UF students and contact their directors or Graduate Assistants to find out how
you can volunteer. Below are links that you may find helpful. The first gives you a
read-through of all the programs and projects and their missions at CLS along with the links to
their direct websites. The second link takes you directly to the CLS general email so that you can
ask any further questions.

Volunteering for a Class or Individually
To volunteer individually through an agency in Gainesville or for a class, Serving Learning Pro (SLP) is the database/program for you! Below you will find a link to the SLP website and instructions on how to use the SLP. The third link will lead you to the Director for Service Learning Fellows which can answer all of your questions.

CLS Listserv
The Listserv was created to allow students who wanted to volunteer and attend at their will in CLS events and activities. In addition, the listserv helps to keep students aware of different opportunities open to them within the Center. Emails are sent out on a weekly basis to keep you up-to-date!
